"Apple Reinstates Swipe-to-Change Feature: A Look at the Notable Updates in watchOS 10.2!"

Following the uproar among Apple Watch users due to the removal of the swipe-to-change watch face feature in watchOS 10, Apple heeded the feedback and restored this functionality with the latest update, watchOS 10.2. Alongside this welcomed reversal, several other beneficial additions come with this recent update.

Swipe Gesture for Changing Watch Faces Rejoice! Apple Watch users can once again swiftly alter their watch faces using the screen swipe. To re-enable this convenient feature, navigate to the Clock section within the Watch app on your iPhone and activate 'Swipe to Watch Face.' Additionally, watchOS 10.2 addresses a bug that caused watch faces not to display correctly on the device.

Confirmation Prompt for Workout Conclusion For those prone to inadvertently ending workouts prematurely on their Apple Watch, the update allows users to activate a confirmation dialog before concluding the activity. To access this setting, visit the Workout section within the Watch app on your iPhone and toggle 'End Workout Confirmation.'

Enhanced Siri Capabilities Building upon the on-device Siri functionality introduced in watchOS 10, the 10.2 update extends Siri's capabilities. Users can now inquire about and log various health data from the Health app using Siri, such as weight measurements, step counts, medication schedules, and other health-related queries. This feature is exclusively available on Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 models.
